6 Best Huntr Alternatives in 2026, Compared on Price and Features
Huntr Pro costs up to $40/month. These six alternatives cover job tracking, autofill, and AI resume tailoring for less, including two that are free for most job searches.
Huntr is one of the best job trackers available, but Pro costs $40 a month (or $26.66 a month on the six-month plan). The free plan also stops at 100 tracked jobs. If either of those is a problem, these are the alternatives worth considering.
We make TrackJobs, which is on this list. We've tried to be straight about where each tool, ours included, is stronger or weaker. Prices were checked in September 2026.

1. Teal: best free tracking
Teal's free plan includes unlimited job tracking, which directly fixes Huntr's 100-job cap. It also comes with a resume builder and a Chrome extension for saving jobs.
- Price: Free, or Teal+ at $13/week, $29/month, or $79/quarter. There's no annual plan.
- What Teal+ adds: unlimited AI resume generation, job-match scoring, and AI cover letters.
- The catch: the weekly plan is easy to leave running. At $13 a week, it works out to about $56 a month. The quarterly plan is the better deal for a real search.
Choose Teal if you want to track a lot of applications without paying, and you'll mostly write your own resumes.
2. Simplify: best free autofill
Simplify is best known for its Chrome extension, which autofills applications on most job sites and ATS platforms for free. It also includes a job tracker and a job board popular with students and new grads.
- Price: Free, or Simplify+ at $19.99/week, $39.99/month, or $89.99/quarter. Simplify doesn't publish a pricing page; these are the in-app prices reported by reviewers.
- What Simplify+ adds: AI resume tailoring and other AI writing tools.
- The catch: Simplify+ costs about the same as Huntr Pro. Its value is mostly in the free tier.
Choose Simplify if you apply to a high volume of roles and the main thing you want is faster form-filling.
3. Jobright: best for finding roles to apply to
Jobright is less a tracker and more an AI job search engine. It recommends roles based on your profile, scores how well you match, and helps tailor your resume.
- Price: Free with small daily credit limits, or Jobright Turbo at $17.99/week, $39.99/month, or $89.99/quarter (in-app prices; Jobright doesn't publish a pricing page).
- The catch: the free tier's daily credits run out quickly in an active search. The monthly price was raised from $29.99 to $39.99 in early 2026.
Choose Jobright if your problem is finding good-fit roles, not organizing ones you've already found.
4. Careerflow: best for LinkedIn optimization
Careerflow bundles a job tracker with a strong set of LinkedIn tools: profile review, headline and post writers, and resume optimization.
- Price: Premium at $23.99/month, or about $14.41/month billed annually. Premium Plus is $44.99/month.
- The catch: the annual plan is where the value is, and a year is longer than most job searches.
Choose Careerflow if recruiters find you through LinkedIn, and your profile needs as much work as your resume.
5. TrackJobs: lowest-cost paid option
TrackJobs covers the same core loop as Huntr: save jobs from any site, track them on a kanban board, autofill applications, and tailor your resume to each role. It also adds startup funding news, so you can find companies that are likely to be hiring.
- Price: Free, or Pro at $6/month. The free plan includes 50 tracked jobs, 25 autofills, and 10 resume scores a month. Pro raises that to 250 jobs, 250 autofills, 50 resume scores, and 200 AI resume optimizations a month.
- The catch: it's a newer, smaller product. Huntr's contact management and search metrics go deeper.
Choose TrackJobs if you want tracking, autofill, and AI resume help for a fraction of Huntr's price. See the full breakdown in TrackJobs vs Huntr.
6. A spreadsheet: the honest free option
A Google Sheet or Notion table with columns for company, role, link, date applied, status, and next step will carry a small search a long way.
- Price: free.
- The catch: everything is manual. There's no one-click saving, no autofill, and no reminders unless you build them yourself. The upkeep grows with every application you add.
Choose a spreadsheet if you're applying to a few carefully chosen roles and don't want another account.
